Working together in the spirit of unity, churches in partnership with farmers have the power to address food apartheid in Black America. While congregations have been leading food charity ministries for decades, the time is now for churches to partner together and co-create just food ecosystems across the United States that solve the problems around WHY people are hungry in the first place.
Churches can use what they already own to join this national movement – their land, kitchens, classrooms, vans, parking lots, houses and most importantly the people of their congregations.
Churches can join The Black Church Food Security Network by following the steps below.
Churches can join our organization in three simple steps:
- Complete the Become a Member Form.
- Attend our New Members Class (Invitation will automatically be sent out after you complete the New Membership Form.)
- Attend our monthly Mass Meeting to be presented to the entire Network. (Check our Events Page for details on our next meeting.)
